Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia, is a Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. Since her teenage years she has been performing in the world of popular music and flamenco. Also, she has explored other categories like hip-hop and Trap. Her voice has been said by none less of a talent than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as crystal clear and smooth, yet having a punch similar to the older ones. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a important commercial and critical breakthrough that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and later winning a Grammy. The song La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami came out as her fourth full-length album. It featured collaborations on songwriting with a variety of performers and artists, among them Cory Henry. The set was released in March 2022 after a live appearance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the very first Spanish singer to be the only solo performer on the program. As well as winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
