Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). The couple relocated to Oxfordshire in the year she turned five where she attended an academy called the Dragon School. Emma chose to be an actor at age six. Over the course of several years she was enrolled in the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. There she learned singing as well as dancing, and also acting.
