Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. She was raised listening to traditional Boleros from the past and the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana has a passion for the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing, but she began more intensive vocal training with Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera tenor. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was part of a variety of chamber and opera choirs. When she moved into America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she relocated to Southern California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher of the Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
